jubilee xmas party

Oh no! Nobody's doing anything about it!

If nobody acts by next month, or even early december, this annual event aimed in raising funds fo r poor orphans would be in jeopardy! The beneficiaries this year are those poor little girls along Q. Ave. nyahahahahahaa

Might I suggest the 13 does its act now? Who will do what? This needs a ym conference.

I'm hearing unconfirmed reports that this year's Christmas party pre-activity planning are being done by someone named Catherine See (which is okay since she's one of us), and some schmuck named Jonathan Pua (which I think is something that we should seriously think about).

From what I've heard, this year's Christmas party will be bigger (= less intimate).

Imagine the likes of (to avoid self-incriminating statements, I'll reserve my right to mention them), mingling around with other people.

People, people, I agree with Mr. Tang that this may get out of hand. We should put our thoughts together. Someone with ulterior motives is hijacking this event.

Probable scenarios this xmas if we don't intervene:

1. Mr. Pua and Ms. See will manage the xmas party.
2. This year's xmas party will be grand.
3. This year's xmas party won't be as intimate as the prior years.
4. Ticket for Mr. Pua to cement his prescence, not only in the xmas party, but also to credit himself for initiating this xmas party.

I would like to suggest that we would collectively represent one body (as the thirteen) for this event and have a dialogue with the other party. We hear their idea, acknowledge it, but we let them know that we already have a concrete idea even before they go about prancing and inviting people.

I would also like to suggest that we hold a feasible venue where we could control the variables. Something similar to Jeco's place or to Jim's place. That way, we can out-manoever anything that may get out of hand.

...MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

with all due respect to glenn..scrap the formalities hahaha

i agree, we need to do something about this..but can we commit into doing something about our xmas party?

not so long ago..we had a plan that was really good and was defended or was supported by the group..yet nothing turned out..the main reason is we now what we have to do..and we know what we want to do, with good intentions in our minds..but it seems we cannot commit to completing our task.

about the xmas party..you're all right we need to take control..but can we? can we commit this time and actually pull this thing off? if not..why do we waste our time taking control? why not let those who may devote time to the project do what has to be done?

again..the question remains..we know what we want to do..and i guess we know what we have to do..but can we give commitment in accomplishing this goal?

Ha? Ang vague naman noon.

Tingin ko, we should use Pua to our advantage, to let him orient himself with the group's goal.

No vague statements, yun na yun.

I suggest having a talk with them about their plans, para we could all work something out, that's practical for everyone.

Tama rin si eug, time to do something about it na.

Bottom line: we should all have fun this christmas, no ulterior motives for everyone

great! we all agree that we need to do something..and i guess we already know what it is..but then again..back to wil's question "who will do what?"

Its great that were discussing this here..but to be able to accomplish what we want to do and answer wil's previous question..we need ownership (since i'm tired of the word commitment hehe)

so ok nagmamadali na akong tapusin to gtg..cnu na ang maglelead nito? i will help in anyway i can but someone..i guess one from those posting here has to take ownership. that's all for now
